Definition 2026-06-30 pC wall [Input: ZK630pC.j]
Description (summary) 2026-06-30 pC A stone wall extends in a southwest–northeast direction for an excavated length of 5.60 m. Only its upper course is exposed. A sounding beneath the fourth stone demonstrated that, at this point, the wall consists of a single course of stones, suggesting that it was constructed as a shallow stone foundation, possibly intended to support a mudbrick wall. The wall is built of medium-sized and small angular stones set in mud mortar, with small stones inserted between the joints. It is likely associated with a similar wall located a few metres to the south at the same elevation (^wall20). Together, the two walls appear to define a right angle, although the connecting corner has not been preserved. [Input: ZK630pC.j]
